Welcome to Hearts For Zambia!

An entire generation of children has lost one or both parents due to HIV/AIDS in the peaceful country of Zambia, Africa.

Hearts for Zambia (HFZ) is a group of committed individuals who have been drawn together with a passion to help care for these orphans and vulnerable children and families. We do this by supporting the efforts of a Zambian faith community. The Sisters of the Child Jesus bring health and hope to those who are suffering. They bravely struggle to provide the basics that we take for granted: plenty to eat, water to drink, comfortable shelter, and clean clothing.

Our goal is to:

• Help meet immediate needs of children and families who come to the Sisters for help
• Assist with the provision of basic education for orphans and blind children
• Help the Sisters create a loving family environment for orphans by grouping children with responsible caregivers

Our Mission

To support and promote the mission of the Sisters of the Child Jesus in meeting the critical and long term needs of orphans and vulnerable children and families in the Northern Province of Zambia, Africa.

• Upkeep, maintenance, and repairs of the Tetekela Care Center
• School fees, books, supplies, and uniforms
• Commercial cook stove and kitchen equipment
• Vehicle maintenance and fuel

• Supplies for the School for the Blind
